Sucre et Biscuits

I was reminded by my friend, Graham, that my blog hasn't been updated. This previous Monday I celebrated my two-dozenth birthday with a few of my friends in a day long cookie-filled event where just a few days earlier I had decided to throw a Cookies and Tea Party. My beloved boyfriend also surprised me that day by taking the week off work and driving ten hours to see me! I've started compiling pictures from that day in a flickr set, hopefully adding more from Nate Turner and Kate Swarthout. But for now I can display some lovely images that Graham has taken.

A Night of Espionage and Intrigue

I helped put together an Espionage Soirée with Mr. Daniel Alexander last night. We had a classy buffet of hors d'oeurves and a martini-ready bar. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of people that showed up in costume. There were villains, spies, femme fatales, classy dames, and evil henchmen. I was also pleased with the variety of guests coming from different majors, not just hailing from building seven (the art nerds). We were seeking to top our Argyle & Cupcakes party and I think it greatly surpassed that. Thank you so much to everyone that came, you all looked fabulous!
